Clinical Services

Consultation

This is a free 15 minute counseling consultation with one of our counselors to determine your individual goals and therapeutic needs and appropriate fit for a counselor within our office.

Initial Intake

This is a 90 minute session with your counselor where they review the therapeutic process, our office protocols and review our counseling process and relationship. We will obtain your history, back ground, identified concerns, and you will collaboratively develop treatment goals.

Counseling Sessions

Counseling sessions will last 50 minutes and will be scheduled at the frequency determined by you and your counselor. This is where you will work on your identified treatment goals with your counselor, utilizing a variety of different techniques and interventions.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

This is a very specific type of trauma counseling therapeutic style in which both of our counselors are trained. This technique is an evidence based practice used to resolve different forms of trauma. This is not a traditional talk based therapy.

“We need never be hopeless because we can never be irreparably broken.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at contact@hopestreamcounseling.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

At this time we are only providing HIPPA compliant telehealth sessions.

For most people yes! In fact, many people prefer telehealth counseling! Many people state that telehealth offers them the comfort of having therapy on their own terms. Finding comfort in being able to work through their trauma or other issues in their safe space surrounded by the comforts of their own home, without the barriers of transportation or time constraints. Our counselors have been able to develop relationships via telehealth just as effectively with clients in person. Any concerns can be discussed in your free consult with one of our counselors.

At this time the only insurance that we are in network with is Quest Behavioral Health.  However,  If you have a different insurance we are able to provide you with the necessary invoices for you to seek reimbursement through your insurance provider as an Out of Network Provider of care.  You can obtain more information on how to do this by contacting your insurance company directly.

Our counselors are equipped and trained to support individuals with various concerns that it would be difficult to list them all individually on our site. We would love to have a free consultation with you to learn about your concerns and if our counselors are best suited for your needs. If we are unable to meet your needs, we would be happy to provide you with a referral for appropriate level of care outside of our office.

Yes we are able to provide couples and family counseling; however, as with all clients, a consultation is needed to evaluate appropriateness of our counselors for your identified needs.
